VRBizTools
VRBizTools VRBizTools was developed by the Seed Business Network (see below). It provides an innovative and interactive online program for vocational rehabilitation (VR) counselors -- a tool to efficaciously guide their clients with disabilities through a business plan development process. The completed plan will meet state and federal guidelines for obtaining business startup funding from banks, VR, PASS and other resources. Since 1998 a hardback version of SBN's business plan workbook has been successfully utilized by hundreds of people with disabilities. Because of declining VR self-employment case closures (down to 1.7% in 2007), SBN recognized an essential need for a similar program for VR agencies and has filled this requirement with an easily accessible training tool to help VR agencies enhance their self-employment case closures. VRBizTools, which launches its subscription services in January 2011, consists of our interactive business plan development software (Business Basics Workbook), an admin section with program guide, Ask-An-Expert Resources, counselor forum, and business evaluation tool. Custom training is offered to accompany the product. The VRBizTools' mission is to help VR professionals create positive self-employment outcomes.

Seed Business Network
Seed Business Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2003 to help people with disabilities develop the social and life skills they need to be successful in business. We recognizes the psychological and physical barriers to self-sufficiency that many disabled face. These barriers severely limit opportunities for people with disabilities to fully participate in the business world, become economically self-sufficient and better themselves and their communities. Seed Business Network has helped over 100 individuals start and develop their businesses using their online business plan development program and has developed training programs for local vocational rehabilitation programs to help them work with their self-employment clients.
